"Ashley Allen's care is unmatched. I have had more providers than I can count, and she is the first to make me truly feel heard and understood. She really takes the time and the appropriate and grounding attitude and intricate direction in treatment. I feel for the first time in my life, I had a provider that cared about ALL parts of me, and not just about one time period but my past present and future. She is extremely punctual, supportive, and professional. Iook forward to being her patient as long as possible! I highly recommend her to anyone who has a complicated case they want to truly dissect and heal."

What is Functional Medicine?

The institute of Functional Medicine defines Functional Medicine as

"a systems biology–based approach that focuses on identifying and addressing the root cause of disease. Each symptom or differential diagnosis may be one of many contributing to an individual’s illness."

This means we're looking for the cause of your symptoms, not looking to give you a pill to mask your symptoms.

What about Insurance Coverage?

Many people with chronic illnesses learn about the benefits of functional medicine, only to find out that most functional medicine providers DON'T accept insurance.

At Functional Medicine of Delaware, we believe in Affordable Holistic Healthcare for those who need it most.

This means that we accept most major health insurances so that YOU have better access to care.
